If, on the right sort of morning, you were to be hiking deep in the foothills of Western Alberta, you might come across an unusual sight.
Up high on a razorback, just above the early morning fog a conspicuous prominence might break the slowly brightening skyline.
And there, sitting serenely in half lotus you will find Pioneer, contemplating the fundamental contradictions of existence.

Using an old and well traveled acoustic guitar as a liferaft in a sea of electronica, they float across soundscapes both old and new,
familiar and alien. But always, it is a sincere love of music and melody that defines what they do and how they do it.
